Sutton Christian Centre is involved in a wide range of community activities, both within the church, with other churches and in the community.

Schools Work

Lynn and Ric have been taking assemblies in local Primary schools since 1990. These usually include lively songs with actions, a drama or story conveying a simple moral or spiritual thought and a short prayer.
Lynn and Ric also take lessons in several schools as part of the RE syllabus, using drama and story-telling, music, worksheets, quizzes and discussion times. They are happy to book times for KS1 and KS2, covering any part of the RE syllabus from a Christian viewpoint.

Lynn and Ric also run lunchtime and after school clubs in various schools, involving games, stories and quizzes.
They can be contacted for bookings or more information on 020 8642 8117.

Caring for Seniors

We offer a range of activities, working alongside local Care Agencies.

Community Works

An interchurch initiative to facilitate joint projects, events and work in the community, e.g. the 'Summertime Special for Seniors'.

Sutton Foodbank

We are a collection point for the Sutton Foodbank, a charity which provides emergency food for people in crisis.

Street Pastors

Sutton Street Pastors aim to help reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, and to demonstrate the love of God through his Church on the streets in a very practical way. Working through the night, they go out in groups, meeting and talking with the homeless, and those living on the edge of society.
