Rose Ministries

R.O.S.E. (Reaching Out to Seniors Everywhere) is a co-ordinated ministry with a vision to reach the seniors in our community for Christ. This involves members of our church and other churches reaching out together to show God's love to the senior people in our community, and working alongside local Care Agencies in the care we provide. Coffee Mornings

10.30 - noon on Wednesdays
Our guests enjoy a warm welcome and a great time to chat over a cup of tea or coffee. The programme also includes a short epilogue, discussions and outings. There has been a mid-week meeting for seniors for more than 35 years.

Special Event Days

Lunches
During the year we have occasional lunches. These increasingly popular events include a range of activities, entertainment and a 3-course meal, concluding with cakes, hot drinks and a short epilogue. Golden Oldies 
Our first 'Golden Oldies' sing along morning takes place on Wednesday 9th November from 10.30 - noon at Tate Road. We'll be singing along to the 'good old songs' from the 40's and 50's, with tea and cakes! All welcome. 

Residential & Nursing Homes Visitation

Every Sunday afternoon and mid-week mornings our teams visit Homes in the community to take a service: favourite hymns, a short Christian message and prayers for individual residents and the Homes. The service concludes with a time to talk and share with each resident attending. 
We also provide weekly pastoral support to residents and staff in 6 of the Homes we visit.

Visits at home

We are able to visit individual people in their own homes. Please contact the church office if you would like a visit.
