Youth Minister post Sutton Christian Centre is a vibrant growing suburban-based multi-cultural church with excellent community links and an active youth department. We need a Youth Minister, to join a friendly team of 5 paid church staff and many dedicated volunteers, who will take responsibility for pastoring our young people (11-20 years) and lead teams in planning and running both church and exciting borough-wide initiatives. Currently youth activities are held on Monday after school, Tuesday evening, Friday evening, Sunday morning and evening, and it is our expectation that these arrangements will continue until such time as they are no longer working and/or a new approach is developed. This appointment will be offered on a full-time basis (35 hours per week) with holiday allocation of 5 working weeks per annum plus bank holidays. Flexible hours may be worked, and it is recognised that much of the face-to-face activity with young people will take place in the evening, at weekends, and in some school holidays. The Youth Minister's base will be 25 Tate Road, where office space and facilities are provided.
