Cornerstone
Cornerstone is a free, friendly, welcoming and accessible group for adults (18+) with a learning disability… a place where everyone is valued, everyone belongs and where the focus is on happiness, joy and celebration.
While some who attend will be independent and able to come on their own, others who require additional assistance or care, will need to be accompanied by a family member, helper or carer.
Cornerstone meetings will be fun-filled and will typically include an interactive mixture of singing (with some signing), hearing a story from the Bible (presented in an understandable way), prayer time, activities, light refreshments and a time to chat and get to know each other.
Cornerstone is held at the church on the Second Sunday of the month from 3.30 to 5pm.
