Supporting our church financially is something that provides a real impact on what we can do in our church, our community and our nation. We can each play our part in the vision by praying, serving and giving towards the work of the church. We are grateful for all the tithes and offerings we receive and appreciate the generosity of those who give to support the work of Sutton Christian Centre.
Here are a few ways you can support us.
Tithes and Offerings
You can give tithes and offerings via the grey box in the church foyer. If you are a gift aider please put your money in an envelope and put your name or gift aid number on it.
You can do it electronically by making a bank transfer directly to us from your online banking or banking app, or by contacting your bank and giving them an instruction. Note that if you are a UK tax payer we recommend you fill in the gift aid form so that we can claim back the tax paid on your offering. You will be provided with a personal code to use as a payment reference.
Our account details are:
Sutton Christian Centre Trust
Account no 27088899
Sort Code 23-05-80
A card reader is available in the church foyer. If you are a gift aider, please provide your gift aid details during payment to enable us claim the tax on your offering.
If you are are a UK tax payer we are able to claim back the tax paid on your offering increasing the gift by a further 25% at no cost to yourself. Please email email@example.com for a gift aid form, or collect one from the foyer in the church. Alternatively, download it here.
If you are giving to a specific ministry or purpose within the church, other than your general tithes, please put your gift in an envelope and include the ministry or purpose on the envelope, or in the reference if giving online.
Leave a legacy
Many of our congregation like to leave a gift in their will to Sutton Christian Centre. This has helped us fund many projects over the years.
In many cases you can reduce inheritance tax on your estate and increase the amount available for your loved ones by leaving a gift to a charitable organisation such as Sutton Christian Centre. For more information on the tax relief you can receive when leaving a charitable gift in your will, visit the government’s website here.
